Great designed lobby, but average rooms

Location and lobby decoration

Rooms are very average. Breakfast was nice presented, but looked like cost savings. Only offer airplane style coffee and tea, otherwise need to pay for quality coffee…fruit flies around some foods.

Highly recommended

Staff extremely friendly and oblinging. Breakfast everything what you wish. Continental and asiatic breakfast. Early check in possible without extra charge. Beach in front of the hotel clean. Wifi also on the beach and whole structure. At the evening time the stuff comes to prepare the bed for the night with mosquito nets.

Extrem musty smell in the room. Constantly water on the bathroom floor. No gym or sauna. Visa not working just Mastercard.

Exceeded expectations and would recommend

Was very much a family hotel. Pool was generally over run with families with small children. We were there 7 days and it was a consistent theme. Hordes of small. That aside, it is a lovely hotel in a great location. More could be made if the pool bar and we didn’t know about the beach bar until the last couple of days. We would stay there again.

The hotel is amazing offering everything you need to relax.

The hotel is amazing offering everything you need to relax. The swimming pool is perfect. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The beach is very clean and really just in front of the hotel.

The service from the swimming pool bar and from the beach (actually didn’t exist) was not good. Too much time to bring the drinks or even a beer. Better to go there and pick yourself.

Private beach, very clean and a nice resort for family vacation. Fair breakfast

The snorkelling package the hotel had isn’t a recommended. It is literally a deceiving. With a very bumpy speed boat ride didn’t pay off at all. Worst of all we could not even do any snorkelling. My poor kids’ excitement turned into disappointment. Not at all recommended on the snorkelling package. And solid waste of money there which was not cheap at all.

Staffs are friendly and helpful.

The drainage system in bathroom is not so good. We need to call hotel staff to get service the drain hole. Could be problem with leveling the floor during constriction.

What was the highlight of Eskala Hotels and Resorts

As last time, our stay at Eskala was great.

As last time, our stay at Eskala was great. Staff is friendly, the hotel seems well managed and the surrounding is beautiful. As we came this time with a toddler of one year, we especially enjoyed the garden and the newly build playground.

As so often seen in other hotels, there is hardly any shadow over the kids pool or the playground. We asked if an umbrella could be moved to the sand pit, but this was not possible. We would recommend bigger sun protection over the pool and playground, same as Eskala has installed at the beach bar. The breakfast is great, but we found the menu a bit expensive and not so much flexibility with for example ordering a side dish with a salad.

Nice breakfast. Great private beach. Caring Staff. Location - close to the village.

Fantastic hotel

The hotel it's in very good position if you looking for relax place. Everything was clean ,the staff very friendly and helpful, receptionist very good ,fantastic chef, nice Italian dishes. Good swimming pool, hotel position on the beach ,fantastic sunset.

Was better if we have a catwalk for people in wheelchair for going to the beach umbrella, but they make for us i ramp for the our room and one ramp after the bridge for going to the beach , a life guards was very careful attentive with us .The hotel it's quite expensive for to be in Myanmar
